Students to perform "The Nutcracker'

WHITTIER -- Rio Hondo College's Dance Collective will present a contemporary adaptation of "The Nutcracker," in collaboration with students from Pioneer High School, Hadley School, Dean Shively Middle School, and the Rio Hondo College Child Development Center. 

Performances are Sunday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. 

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Children under 5 are free. 

Holiday food and gifts will be available for purchase, and there will be a visit from Santa Claus. 

The Rio Hondo Dance Collective is an ensemble of advanced students in the Rio Hondo Dance Program. The group performs on campus, at area dance festivals and community concerts.
