Shirley Kelly

June 5, 1941 - September 1, 2015

Shirley Kelly born in Los Angeles on 6/5/41 to Ernest and Leona Stroot Kelly peacefully passed away on 9/1/15 from Alzheimer’s. She was a resident of Downey for many years and attended OLPH and Pius X schools.

She worked for Motor Rim and Wheel until their closing and finished her many working years at Madison Industries. The Kelly family were founding members of Saint Raymond Church where Shirley was a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents and survived by her sisters, Sandra Bixler, Sheila (Rich) Ward, Christine (Mark) Johnson. She was a loving and fun aunt to nephews, Kelly Bixler, Kory (Jackie) Bixler, Mark (Diane) Johnson, Scott (Priscilla) Johnson, Robert (Summer) Johnson and her only niece Ashlee Johnson.

The Family wishes to express their appreciation to Shirley’s caretakers Hilda Batres and Elaine Hernandez for their many years of faithful and loving care.
