Rhythm and blues benefit ball

WHITTIER – A rhythm and blues ball to benefit SPIRITT Family Services will take place Thursday, Oct. 23, at California Country Club in Whittier. The event includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing and entertainment.

Individual tickets are $100 or $175 for a couple.

SPIRITT serves more than 8,000 people each year with social services and mental health services. They also provide children and their parents “with the tools, resources and support to achieve their personal goals related to the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, mental health, violence, trauma and child abuse prevention and treatment services.”
