Compost workshop

DOWNEY – A smart gardening workshop offering tips on backyard composting will be offered Saturday, June 14, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Wilderness Park. The workshop will be held inside the park building, and no pre-registration is necessary.

Participants will learn about backyard composting, worm composting, grass recycling, and water-wise and fire-wise gardening techniques.

Compost and worm bins will be available for purchase (cash or check only).
