Author luncheon June 28

DOWNEY – Best-selling authors Shaun Morey and Tyler Dilts will headline an author’s luncheon Saturday, June 28, at the Rio Hondo Event Center. More, an avid fisherman, is famous for his “Incredible Fishing Stories Series” as well as his novel, “Wahoo Rhapsody,” an international mystery and drug caper.

Dilts taught English at Cal State Long Beach and is the author of a series of novels set in Long Beach and featuring homicide detective Danny Beckett.

Tickets are $25 and include a buffet lunch and book. Reservations are required by calling Marilyn Van Dyke at (562) 714-6515.

The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
