Warren High hosting marching band competition Saturday

DOWNEY - The Warren High School Music Parent Association - in conjunction with SCSBOA - will be hosting its 7th Annual Warren Field Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Warren High School Justice Stadium. 

There will be 22 high school marching bands, competing for scores in hopes of qualifying for SCSBOA Championships, which will also be hosted by Warren High on Nov. 18. 

The event is made up of an afternoon show beginning at 2 p.m. and an evening show which will start at 6 p.m. The tournament is open to the public. General admission price is $8. There will be food, refreshments, and other vendors available. 

Participating marching bands include: Oxnard, South East, Chino, El Rancho, West Ranch, Bellflower, Whittier, Los Altos, West, Lakewood, and Upland High Schools.
