Thrift shop giving away children's books Saturday

DOWNEY — The Second Tyme Around Thrift Shoppe in Downtown Downey will be giving away books Saturday for children in grades TK-6.
The giveaway is sponsored by the Assistance League of Downey in an effort to support and promote children’s literacy.
Families can receive the books from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store is located at 11026 Downey Ave.
