Theater management

Dear Editor: This week, newly-elected Councilman Sean Ashton takes office. Mr. Fernando Vasquez has been mayor for a year now.

My sincerest wish is that these gentlemen, along with other city leaders, would:

a.) replace VenueTech theater management company with new competent managers. (Frankly, the local high school drama department would have done a more efficient job running the place.)

b.) restore Downey Civic Light Opera to its rightful home in the civic theater. This is the proverbial Christmas present that we are all  hoping to receive.

Let’s have some good news for a change in 2015.
