Kaiser hospital

Dear Editor: Last Monday, I was once again transported to the emergency room at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Downey, where I spent that day in the emergency room and that night and the following day in a lovely room on the sixth floor.

If the Auto Club were to rate/rank hospitals as they do hotels and restaurants, Kaiser Permanente would definitely receive their top 5 Diamond rating. If anyone was to rate the staff at any or all Kaiser Permanente facilities, they would surely be rated at the highest possible rating.

These are truly a remarkable group of people. I have been affiliated with Kaiser Permanente since 1979, and I have yet to encounter even one disagreeable employee at any Kaiser facility.

Therefore, on Thanksgiving Day we offered a special prayer of thanks for all those wonderful people.
