Textbooks open for review

DOWNEY – The public is invited to inspect math books the Board of Education is considering for adoption in high school and middle school classrooms. Copies of the textbooks will be on display for three consecutive weeks on the second floor lobby of the Gallegos Administration Center, 11627 Brookshire Ave., weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. between March 18 and April 21.

Anyone wishing to offer suggestions or criticism about the textbooks should submit their comments to the superintendent in writing by April 14.

The school board is scheduled to consider adopting the books at its April 21 meeting.
