Services Saturday for Diane Wynn

DOWNEY – Diane Wynn, a resident of Bellflower, a retired elementary school teacher in the Paramount Unified School District, and a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Downey, passed away on Oct. 21 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer. Diane taught for 40 years, mainly at Hollydale Elementary in South Gate, and continued to substitute teach until shortly before her cancer diagnosis in September.

An alumnus of Cal State Long Beach, she had a bachelors degree in Political Science and a minor English. She also had a masters degree in Education.

She is survived by her younger siblings and their spouses: Barbara Krazel (Edward), John Wynn (Andrea) and Deborah Young (Adam).

A memorial service will be held at Downey’s Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m.
