School offering new dental certification courses

DOWNEY - Downey Adult School will soon begin offering three new certification courses through its dental program.Certification classes for California Dental Radiation Safety and Dental X-ray licensing begins June 1. Coronal Polishing and Ultrasonic Scaling certification starts July 14, and Infection Control certification will be offered in the fall. Downey Adult School is the first approved school to offer infection control certification to all dental assistants in California. Their dental program has also been approved from the Dental Board of California and the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries.
