Rio Hondo Symphony previewing concert

WHITTIER - The Rio Hondo Symphony Guild will hold its second concert preview of the season on Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. inside First Friends Church in Whittier.Guest speaker is Dr. Nicole Baker, a voice professor at Cal State Fullerton. She also sings with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, conducts the early music ensemble Jouyssance, and serves as music director at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Pasadena. The preview is in advance of the Rio Hondo Symphony's Oct. 30 concert, titled "Good Things! Small Packages," at Whittier High School. Admission to the preview and concert is free.
