Residents offered free McDonald's, grocery store gift card to get vaccinated

BELL GARDENS — Residents of southeast Los Angeles County are being offered a free $50 grocery store gift card and food from McDonald’s if they get vaccinated this week.

The offer is good July 12-14 for people who get vaccinated at the McDonald’s located at 5725 Florence Ave. in Bell Gardens.

Participants will receive a coupon for any one item on the McDonald’s menu plus a choice between a $50 virtual cash card, Kroger gift card or Albertson’s gift card.

The number of coronavirus cases in L.A. County have spiked in recent days, putting unvaccinated residents at risk. About 60% of southeast L.A. County has received a vaccination, officials said.
