Football: Downey to host this year’s rivalry game against Warren

DOWNEY — Downey High School will host this year’s rivalry football game between the Vikings and Warren High School Bears. 

The matchup was revealed last week when football schedules for both teams were released. 

Preseason games begin Aug. 20 and league matchups get underway Oct. 1. Downey and Warren face each other Oct. 29 in their regular season finales.
