Place for teens

Dear Editor:Teenagers in Downey enjoy going out on Friday or Saturday nights, but when it comes to over-protected children, they are stuck at home because Downey has no places for teens to hang out. Downey should open a fun and safe place for teenagers to hang out close to their homes. If you think about it, the only place to go are the movies and that can get boring, especially when there are no good movies or when you have no money. - Cynthia Rodriguez, Downey
