Legal extortion

Dear Editor:David Letterman had a male co-worker arrested for extortion. He was arrested when he tried to cash or deposit a $2 million check. Now Tiger Woods' mistress hires a lawyer to extort between $1 million and $3 million for her silence of being his mistress of two years. I guess by hiring a lawyer you can make extortion legal. - Mike Sandoval, Downey
