Patricia (Pat) Zacker

February 6, 1936 - October 8, 2020

Patricia (Pat) Zacker, passed away peacefully at home in La Quinta, CA surrounded by her family on October 8, 2020. She was a long time resident of Downey where she and her husband, William (Bill) Zacker, owned and operated Downey Plumbing & Heating. In 1993, Bill and Pat were both Honorees of The Memorial Trust Foundation for The Downey Community Hospital at their Annual Charter Ball. Pat was a lifetime lover of animals, but her passion were her dogs and horses. She was involved in breeding and showing Arabian horses locally as well as nationally. They built a ranch in La Quinta California to expand their operation to include breeding and racing Thoroughbred Horses. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Bolks of Litchfield Park Az., and Vicki Jeffries of La Quinta, CA., along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She’s greatly missed. Due to Covid-19 we will not be having a Celebration of Life until after the New Year, when restrictions are lifted.
