Charles “Chuck” Frey

September 29, 1931 - October 27, 2020

Charles “Chuck” Frey died at the age of 89 due to complications of a recent stroke and COVID-19. He and his wife, Joan, were involved in many groups in Downey where they lived for 55 years including: Keep Downey Beautiful, Assistance League both at the Second Time Around store and the Chapter house, and the Moravian Church.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan and his children Julie Palmer, Nancy Wilson, and Chuck Frey in addition to their spouses and 6 grandchildren who will miss him.

He will be laid to rest in December at Mount Vernon Cemetery in the Sacramento area in the Veteran’s Court of Honor for his service in the Korean War.
