Military graduations

DOWNEY – Air Force Airman Jordan A. Mann and Air Force Airman 1st Class Danielle E. Porras have graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Both completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Mann is the son of Christina Mann, of Downey, and grandson of Larry and Rosie Linfoot, of Lancaster.

He graduated from Warren High School in 2014.

Porras is the daughter of Henry Mireles, of Taft, Tex., Daniel Porras, of Anaheim, and Guadalupe Smith, of Palmdale.

She graduated from Downey High School in 2007.
