Mary Blomgren passes away at 89

DOWNEY – Mary Catharine Blomgren passed away May 26. She was 89. 

Mary was born Dec. 15, 1925 in New York City. She was the second child and only daughter of William and Catherine Murphy. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Blomgren, and two sons, Richard and Thomas Blomgren. 

She is survived by her sons,  Robert and Gerald Blomgren; her brother, Michael Murphy; grandchildren, Sean, Jason, Christopher and Kevin Blomgren, Sheila Pinheiro, Jamie Duerr and Kelly Goepp; and great-grandchildren Makenzie, Brooke, Warren, Avery, Kendal, Sophia and Henry. 

Services were handled by McWane Family Funeral Home.
