Man charged after yelling threats in movie theater

NORWALK - A 52-year-old man who spooked moviegoers after shouting threats during a screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" at the AMC Theatre in Norwalk pleaded not guilty Tuesday.Clark Tabor was charged with making criminal threats, a felony, and being a public nuisance. Tabor was inside the theater at 5:15 p.m. when witnesses say he yelled, "Does anyone have a gun?" and "I should go off like in Colorado." He was carrying a backpack. People inside the theater contacted security. Sheriff's deputies took Tabor into custody without incident. He was unarmed. Authorities also searched his home and found no weapons. Bail for Tabor was set at $51,622. He is due back in Bellflower Superior Court on Aug. 8 for a preliminary hearing.
