Letter to the Editor: POW flag

Dear Editor:

As a American Legion member and Post Commander of Downey Post # 270, I would like to congratulate Downey City Hall for displaying the POW/MIA flag over city hall. It has been a long time coming.

Downey city hall and council members have been very supportive of our veterans through the years. This display of the POW/MIA flag over city hall is an example of Downey's concern for our veterans.
