Letter to the Editor: Disheveled flag

Dear Editor: 

The flag that flies at the post office on Imperial Highway is the worst-ever flown at any post office in Downey. Ever. 

The flag is sun-bleached and torn at the edges. The flag is never brought in at night or put up in the morning for many months. This is the truth, I promise you. 

We must show respect for the flag of our country. Someone should be in charge of the flag; there is no excuse for this.
