Funeral services March 6 for Marjorie Wimmer

DOWNEY – Marjorie Lucille Wimmer, a resident of Downey for 58 years, passed peacefully Feb. 19 at age 85. 

She was born in Dodge City, Kansas, and grew up in Monett, Missouri  She worked 28 years for Downey Community Hospital in Labor and Delivery. 

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Blackwell of South Carolina; a brother, William Turner, of Kentucky; three children, Dan, Jane and Mary; four grandchildren in California; and many cousins, nieces and nephews  

Services will be held March 6 at 1 p.m. at Rose Hills.
