Fireworks fan

Dear Editor:Add my name to the list of residents who enjoyed the July 4th fireworks show at the new park. It saved my family a lot of money and the show was much better than anything we could have bought from a street booth. I won't go as far as to say the city should "ban all fireworks," but I do hope the city finds the money to bring the show back next year. - Karen Laverde, Downey
