Films chronicle Apollo program

DOWNEY - Downey resident Jeff Vilencia will show six short films on the Apollo and Space Shuttle titled "With Their Eyes on the Stars" Thursday at 7:30 p.m. inside the John Downey Room at the Barbara J. Riley Community & Senior Center.Jerry Blackburn, president of the Aerospace Legacy Foundation, will be on-hand to offer commentary and field questions. The event is part of the regular meeting of the Downey Historical Society.
