Ethel Galeskas passes away
DOWNEY – Ethel Galeskas passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, Dec. 5. She was a Downey resident for nearly 75 years.
Formerly from Patterson, New Jersey, where she was born Dec. 29, 1922, she moved to California as a new bride.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Galeskas, son, Daniel; brother, Harry DeVine; and first husband, John Seniuta.
She is survived by son, Philip Senuita, of Downey; sister-in-law, Dolores DeVine; great nieces Judith Massey and Nancy Sylverstre, of New Jersey; stepdaughter, Joyce Morgan; stepson, Joseph Galeskas; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with services Saturday, Dec. 17, at Rose Hills Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m.
