Ernest Porras passes away

DOWNEY – Downey resident Ernest Porras, 79, passed away Dec. 21. He was born May 29, 1935 to Isabel Apacricio and Paul Porras in Los Angeles. He was a hair stylist for more than 43 years.

Porras is survived by his wife, Eleanor Porras; his daughter, Lenore Porras; sister, Gloria Villescas; grandson, Rudy Arvizo; great granddaughter, Savanah Arvizo; as well as many other family members and friends.

A rite of committal was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park on Dec. 29.
