Downey High hosting ‘Future Viking Night’ for new students

DOWNEY – Downey High is hosting “Future Viking Night” for future and prospective students May 20 at 5:30 p.m. All departments and Career Technical Education will host demonstrations and live performances throughout the campus to showcase the variety of programs offered at Downey High.

Teachers will also be highlighting applied technologies such as engineering and robotics, aeronautics, alternative energy, drafting and design, automotive technology, and culinary arts.

There will also be campus tours, band performances, and food from Frantone’s Pizza and other vendors. All students and their parents are invited.
