5K at Rancho hospital this Saturday

DOWNEY – “Roll Around the Ranch,” a 5K, 1K and kid’s run for people of all abilities, takes place Saturday, May 16, starting at 9:30 a.m. On-site registration is available with a suggested donation of $10.

Participants may run, walk or roll in their wheelchairs around the flat course. The event also features “race buddies,” which are volunteers who are paired with a racer who is not able to push their wheelchair for long distances.

All race participants will receive a medal after crossing the finish line.

The event also features motivational speeches, performances by local talent, raffles, and a health expo with vendors from around the Los Angeles area.
