DJAA taking sign-ups

DOWNEY - The Downey Junior Athletic Association (DJAA) is now accepting registration for its spring baseball season.Sign-ups will be taken Saturday and March 16 at Apollo Park. Boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to register. All kids will have an opportunity to play. For more information, go online to djaasports.org. Opening Day is scheduled for April 6 with a parade of teams, homerun derby, running the bases ceremony and more.
