Alice Vukasovic

March 29, 1930 - November 23, 2020

Alice Vukasovic passed away on November 23, 2020 in Menifee, CA at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Vukasovic. They were married in Huntington Park and moved to Downey in 1964. She is survived by her three children, Terry (Nick)Tyler, Julie (Pat) Manzo and Emil Dean Vukasovic. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, watching the Lakers and Dodgers, and spending time with her family. She especially loved watching her great-grandchildren play sports.

Alice was employed by Safeway Federal Credit Union in 1968 where she worked for 28 years. She worked in Personnel, the Loan Department, and supervised the clerical staff. She loved her job, all her coworkers, and especially her credit union members; many considered her the “First Lady” of the credit union where she retired as Vice President in 1996.

Due to Covid a small internment service will be held at a later date at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.
