10 arrested at Norwalk checkpoint
Ten people were arrested at a DUI checkpoint in Norwalk last Friday night, including five people allegedly under the influence of marijuana. Two people were caught driving drunk and three drivers were in possession of illegal drugs, according to statistics released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department today.
The checkpoint was on Alondra Boulevard, just east of Pioneer Boulevard.
Nearly 1,100 vehicles passed through the checkpoint. Four vehicles were impounded for one day.
