Temple marking Jewish High Holidays

DOWNEY - Erev Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of Jewish High Holiday season marking the year 5774, will be celebrated at Temple Ner Tamid this Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m.Rosh Hashanah Day 1 follows on Sept. 5. Rosh Hashanah Day 2 is at 4 p.m., while Kol Nidre is Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Yom Kippur is at 10 a.m. on Sept. 14, with concluding prayers at 3 p.m. and Yiskor service at 4:30 p.m. For more information, call the temple office at (562) 861-9276.
