DOWNEY - The West Middle School Spartan Band took the Sweepstakes award for Band and Music at the Chino Invitational Band Review and Field Show Tournament held Nov. 2 at Chino High School.Fifty-five bands from throughout Southern California and beyond participated in the event, which benefited the Chino 77th Cavalry Band and Pageantry. In addition to West Middle School's band's accomplishments, the color guard (auxiliary) took first place.
