Dear Editor:I am a longtime resident of Downey and have been noticing that there are many people who choose to do their walking after dark. Most of the Downey streets are very dimly lit and my concern is that when the walkers wear dark-colored clothing, it makes it extremely difficult for motorists to spot them in the street. I would like to suggest that they wear something bright to avoid an unnecessary accident. Myrtle Pinsky Downey
