Gustavo Morales joins Air Force

DOWNEY - Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Gustavo A. Morales graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.Morales completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Morales is the son of Downey residents Roger and Carmina Morales. He is a 1997 graduate of Downey High School.
