Downey cheerleaders hosting clinic

DOWNEY - Downey High School's award-winning cheerleaders will hold their annual cheer clinic on Saturday, Sept. 14, in the campus gym from 8 a.m. to noon.Girls and boys ages 5-13 can learn game action and sideline cheers. Participants will perform during halftime of the Sept. 20 varsity football game at Allan Layne Stadium. Cost of the clinic is $30 and includes an official Downey High Cheer t-shirt and two admission tickets to the football game. To register or for more information, call Janet Minnig at (562) 923-5883.
