Credit union collecting new books

DOWNEY - Downey Federal Credit Union is collecting donations of new books to benefit Downey elementary school students.New children's books suitable for children in grades K-5 can be dropped off in the credit union's main lobby at 8237 3rd St. All books will be donated to "well-deserving Downey elementary school children", or become part of each teacher's classroom library. This is the eighth year Downey Federal Credit Union has hosted its book drive.
