Video production company buys Downey land

DOWNEY – A video production company has obtained financing to purchase a 7,900 sq. ft. commercial building in Downey. AVC Anton Video Concepts Inc. provides video production and post production services and video equipment rentals.

Primarily serving the Latino entertainment community, its clients include Sony Music, MGM/Mirage Resorts and Gloria Estefan.

Founded by Joaquin Vodanovich in 2004, the company has operated from a 5,000 sq. ft. leased space since inception. With the lease running out, Vodanovich said he wanted to buy property for his company instead.

Working with Rodney Kojima, senior vice president at Bay Area Development, and with California Bank and Trust, he was able to purchase property at 8060 Telegraph Rd. in Downey.

Funding also allowed Vodanovich to purchase new equipment, including LED panels.
