Traffic enforcement

Dear Editor: I support the Downey Police Department all the way. But where is the police when Firestone and Florence become traffic accidents waiting to happen, with people blocking intersections?

We need police at these intersections to make sure no one blocks the streets so traffic can flow through. I have to honk my horn just to make sure I can get through safely.

I travel a lot through Downey and see people on their cell phones and I never see officers pulling anyone over. Watch, I will get pulled over for trying to get through an intersection that is blocked because I am honking my horn.

Where is Downey police when you need them?
