Student art festival at Stay Gallery

DOWNEY – Downey High School ASB (student government) will take over Stay Gallery this Saturday for a “Stay Young” Festival that includes live music, live art, interactive games, and food, to go along with the artwork on display. The student-organized festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and geared towards high school students, although the event is free and open to the public.

More than 60 pieces of art will be on display and 100 percent of all art sales will go back to student artists.

Donations at the door will be gifted by Downey Art Vibe, which operates the gallery, to Downey High School ASB for future student-led art events.
