Poet to debut new book

DOWNEY – Actress and poet Linda Singer will debut her new book, “Vital Signs,” at Stay Gallery next Thursday, Sept. 11. The presentation is part of Poetry Matters and begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

In addition to acting, Singer has also worked at various times as a promotion assistant at Capital Records, garment salesperson and airline flight attendant.
