Library receives Old West collection of books

DOWNEY – The Friends of the Downey City Library has received a donation that includes a set of the Time Life Old West Series (26 books). The donation also includes 22 books from the Time Life Classics of the Old West series, which includes titles such as “Cremony’s Life Among the Apaches,” “The California and Oregon Trails,” and “Wild Life in the Far West.”

There are also 16 books from the Time Life series “The Civil War.”
