Furman Park new playground

The new playground at Furman Park will be officially dedicated next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The playground incorporates a space theme and featuring a covered play area, swing set, climbers and separate areas for kids as young as 2 years old. The Downey Kiwanis Foundation funded the $230,000 project.
