DUI checkpoint Friday

DOWNEY – A driver’s license and DUI checkpoint will be conducted at an undisclosed location in Downey on Friday, June 27, starting at 8 p.m. Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol or drug impairment while also checking for proper licensing.

Drivers caught driving impaired can expect jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes and other expenses that can exceed $10,000.
