Downey neighbors

Dear Editor: After reading Danny Wright’s letter (“Rude Neighbor,” 8/7/14), I thought of my neighbors. I’ve been a resident of Downey for 17 years and have been really blessed to have amazing neighbors.

I guess what I am writing to say is that the people of Downey’s general makeup is not selfish and uncaring.

Having one rude neighbor shouldn’t label all of Downey residents as selfish.
