Downey Lions Club

The Downey Lions Club distributed back-to-school shopping sprees for 30 needy Downey children last weekend. The kids also received backpacks stuffed with school supplies. An additional 30 backpacks will be distributed in coordination with the TLC Center. “Thanks to all our sponsors, donors and volunteers who came out to shop with us,” the club said in a statement.
