LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Death penalty

Dear Editor: In July, Joseph Rudolph Wood III was executed for killing his girlfriend and her father in the city of Tucson, Ariz.

It took 15 doses of poison and 90 minutes to kill him. It is hard to believe that this can not be done more quickly.

Why don’t we use the poison that they use to kill our pets? It kills them in one or two seconds.
